Do you use hot glue to attach your ornaments to your wreaths and garland?

Hi Lorrie, I try to avoid using glue, whenever possible. It is much better to wire ornaments on to your greenery, if possible. The easiest thing to use (for wiring ornaments on to greenery) are olive green pipe cleaners. Cutting them in half will give you the right size for wiring an ornament to a wreath, tree or garland. The reason I avoid glue whenever possible is that it attracts bugs, can break down in heat (like a garage or attic) and can burn you when you’re reaching into greenery and then, back out again (that’s when it gets you! LOL) I’ve tried the Ove-Glove, which works, but it is simply too cumbersome to use. I hope I was able to help you…. good luck! Eileen
P.S. In case you’re interested, I’m “almost” done with my “How to” Christmas Tree Decorating video, which will have lots of helpful hints like this in it. It will be VERY reasonable. I will make an announcement on my blog when it’s ready, so you may want to check back in early October or become a Subscriber, so you will receive the notification automatically.

Hi! I want to start off by saying you are so talented and I love your designs! I ordered your DVD today and I can’t wait to recieve it. I also plan to order the book as well. I stumbled across your videos on Youtube and now I’m hooked.

Where did you purchase your white tree, garland, and wreath? Are they a certain brand? I have seen some at walmart that look really cheap. Also, I saw your friend’s black Christmas tree on Facebook. Do you know where she purchased it??
