I found this fun hay cart at a close-out store, among the Summer clearance merchandise and priced at only $20.00! But, if you can’t find a bargain, the garden centers of most discount stores carry a version of these carts. Of course, you can also simply use an old wheelbarrow to hold some fall mums.
If you choose the cart design, I added the following items (found at
either craft or discount stores that carry seasonal décor):
2 hay bales
4 artificial pumpkins
2 stalks each of fall-colored, silk flowers and leaves
1 Pumpkin Patch sign
1 small rake
Mr. & Mrs. Scarecrow
Imagine the fun you will have filling your new purchase with different goodies EVERY season, i.e. alpine trees & under-lit snow at Christmas, loads of Easter grass & HUGE plastic eggs in the Spring, patriotic flags tucked in among some pretty summer flowers, etc). The neighbors will be looking forward to your creative displays too… every, single season!
